Web_Jerry_1 Honest-natured Jerry Snell got into the business based on his dad’s sound advice to “try heating & AC” – several decades ago. Armed with a great career option, Jerry studied HVAC at Metropolitan Community College, after which he honed his craft at several local heating & air conditioning businesses, before venturing on his own in 1998 to form – Snell Heating & AC.

  1. I woke up today at 4am to find that my furnace was not working and the tempature outside (with windchill) feels like -20. The wind is howeling through my front door and my two little girls are snuggled in their beds. What to do? I’m a nurse and know NOTHING about this furnace in my house I bought 5 months ago. So, who do I call when things needs fix’in….. my dad. My dad has been a mechanic for 50 + years and had a successful business due to his strong honesty and integrity. Guess what? My dad didn’t know what the problem was. He told me to call someone to come out. So, I said a little prayer to help me find the right person to help. After calling 3 emergency hotline where no one answered….on-line I found the number for Snell Heating & AC. The phone was answered within a few rings to a cheerful man (for 4:30am anyway). I said, “My furnace is out.” He replied, “Well where did it go?” I knew I had called the right number. I explained my problem and the reasuring man on the other end talked me through a few questions. He came to the conclusion that the pipes outside were plugged with snow, and all I had to do was unplug them. What?!…no one had to come out?…no hundreds of dollars spent?….no service charge with an after hours charge added like a cherry on top?!
I did what he said, and now I’m warming up and my two girls will have no idea why they have a few added blankets. Thank you Snell for being honest and having the integrity my dad always had with his customers throughout the years. Now I have the number to call for all of my heating and ac problems! I wanted to call you back to thank you, but it’s so early and incase you fell back alseep….I didn’t want to wake you again. Thank you again and God Bless!
